Dear adults,
We are asking for the space to grow, think, and learn on our own terms.
We live in a world shaped by technology, uncertainty and constant pressure, and we need your help to navigate it - not by telling us what to do or imposing quick fixes, but by trusting us to develop the skills we need to handle it ourselves.
We know you worry about things like social media, gaming, or the pressures we face, but banning or controlling these things won’t solve the real issue. The issue is that we need the freedom to build our own sense of self-worth, confidence, and the ability to speak up for ourselves. We need to be able to define what success, value, and meaning look like for us—not just follow a scorecard set by others.
We need to feel safe enough to explore, ask questions, and figure things out without the pressure of competition or needing constant validation. We need you to model curiosity, not certainty. Show us it’s okay not to have all the answers, and that it’s okay to question and explore.
The education system needs to do more than just teach us facts. We need to develop critical thinking, self-awareness, and the tools to navigate this complex world. Many of us feel lost, disconnected, and unsure of how to move forward, and we need more than just knowledge - we need the chance to own our own stories, learning, and growth.
We have the ability to overcome the challenges around us, but we need your support. Please trust us to take ownership of our lives and help us build the future we want. We’re ready to find our own balance, but we need space to do it.
Hopefully,
